Our client supports and helps companies secure their networks through providing a secure alternative to passwords that safely enables remote access to systems and information by delivering two-factor authentication as an on-demand hosted service. They are now looking to recruit a Channel Account Manager who will be responsible for the account management of key channel partners together with bringing on-board new agreed targeted partners. Reporting to the sales manager the Channel Account Managers core aim will be to develop strong relationships within the channel in order to identifying and close new business opportunities. Working with the sales manager the Channel Account Manager will also be responsible to plan and implement a comprehensive channel development and management program and will also work with the Channel Technical Account Manager in order to manage the accounts. Understanding and meeting the needs of the channel partners will be essential in order to develop and grow the accounts to a maximum. Forging successful relationships with Internal Account Managers located at the channel partner sites will also be key to the role in order to ensure that all renewal business is retained together with developing new opportunities and additional services in order to expanding your opportunity pipeline. Working internally with the marketing team and customer services will also be crucial in order to ensure that channel partners have the appropriate knowledge in order to drive sales as well as ensuring appropriate levels of technical support and training in available to your channel partners and their technical personnel. Preparing pipeline reports and forecast for the sales manager will be essential together with evolving the current channel partner management strategy in order to make sure maximum sales benefit is being achieved. They are looking to build a team of Bilingual EMEA Software Specialists/ Business Development Managers in order to drive their unique solution across the UK and EMEA. The successful candidate will come from a software/ hardware solutions sales background ideally working with clients sized at 4000 seats upwards and will have a proven track record of increasing revenues within existing as well as new accounts. The role will involve developing New Business through the leads that have been generated throughout the UK and EMEA over the last 12 months. This is a 360 degree sales roles where the successful candidate will be calling prospective customers in order to develop their product knowledge on the key features and benefits of their solution, setting up and chairing online web demonstrations in order to align end user needs to the benefits of the solution followed by Q and A session, create lead generation efforts and network in the right places in order to get the software solution well known within the IT market space. Taking ownership of ones own pipeline, managing time and developing sustainable relationships are the backbone of the role.
