My client is a financially strong well known player within the network security space. They have an opportunity for a Graduate/ Junior Account Manager to manage a portfolio of existing accounts, sourcing of new clients and progressing new and existing opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle. The role will involve achieving and exceeding monthly targets, generating new business within new and existing accounts, negotiating pricing with vendors and end users in order to maximise margin levels, and maintaining both vendor and end users relationships. Selling technical consultancy/ services and products from vendors, presenting to end users as and when necessary and attending regular product and sales training will also be part of the role. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or have a recent relevant business qualification that possesses charismatic, optimistic and persuasive characteristics. The candidate will be results oriented, assertive and decisive with an ambition to succeed and thrive on closing sales. Being comfortable holding business level conversations with decision makers, having a methodical approach with attention to detail, having a genuine interested in learning security solutions and how to sell then with a can do attitude will be contributing attributes. Sales Manager – IT Security Solutions

My client has firmly established themselves as a leading supplier of IT security solutions to UK organisations. Due to the company’s planned growth, an opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Manager to join their team. The Sales Manager will be responsible to aid in the continued expansion of the companies client base, to aid the Sales Team to increase the already healthy profitability margins and pipeline as well as assisting in the teams development and growth. The Sales Manager will also have the responsibility for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Sales Team, and playing a key part in ensuring that the team hit & exceed the gross profit targets with personal input, as well as set, monitor and measure the teams KPI’s and establish and maintain good vendor relations together with undertaking new vendor acquisition and reduction decisions. The Sales manager will also have an input in the Sales strategy and assist in identifying new areas for growth, as well as maintaining a consistent management approach when the Managing Director is out of the office. Taking an active part in Account Management for key clients and the development of the team’s business accounts, the Sales Manager will also maintain the sales database through regular communication and prepare reports and lead sales meetings. The Sales Manager will have great leadership, motivational, communication and interpersonal skills with a self-starting nature and a competitive outlook as well as a friendly approach whilst still being able to make those unpopular decisions and the ability to influence and persuade others will be key. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of successful business development within the IT field, including some exposure to or knowledge of IT Security, at least two years’ experience of managing a sales team, and a full driving licence. This is a key role and an opportunity to join a growing business at the point of potentially explosive growth. As part of your role, The Sales Manager will be required to undertake some UK travel.
