The Account Manager will also be responsible for the achievement of monthly sales quotas including gross profit and gross margin, they will have to research and profile their defined account portfolio to build detailed sales plans, understanding key decision makers, org charts, current investment, current category mix and new revenue opportunities as well as identify, nurture and close new sales opportunities within their account base. The position will also involve regular reviews/analyses accounts to understand growth opportunities for new lines of business, accurately updating the sales CRM every day tracking sales pipeline and sales forecast and also drive self-development by working closely with their manager to set quarterly and annual personal objectives and plan activities to reach these. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in target/quota exceeding sales targets in a sales roles, a proven ability to generate and execute business plans to ensure deep sales penetration into accounts is achieved and also a proven success building customer relationships that increase incremental sales growth.
